Infiniti: G35, a headbutt to Serie3!

Infiniti: G35, a headbutt to Serie3!

Here is a wintry American advertising for the Infiniti G37 and its safety!
Succession, it is not Audi scratches the Munich manufacturer but rather the discreet luxury division of Nissan. It's simple, it makes us smile and this changes from the A4 and A6, the G37 sedan is rare enough on the road for us to enjoy this snowy communication.

England wants to raise the speed limit on highways

England wants to raise the speed limit on highways

The British government wants to pass the speed limit on motorways from 112 to 128 km / h.

While in France the government often talks to reduce speed on motorways 20 km / h (110 instead of 130 km / h), the British government is considering the reverse process by announcing want to pass this limitation of 70 mph (112 km / h) at 80 mph (128 km / h) by 2013.
The idea comes from Transportation Secretary Philip Hammond who explains that the mortality
on British roads drop by 75% since 1965, date when have been set speed limits in England. He added that vehicles and infrastructure have become safer, the limitations of the encient time are now inappropriate, and that the limit of 80 mph is common to many countries of the European Union.

Enable millions of motorists to toe the line

Interesting thing expressed by Philip Hammond, the fact that increasing the speed limit of 10 mph would save time and money, supporting analysis! It would also allow many drivers to fall into linebecause 49% of them exceed 70 mph quicklly. On the condition they retain their habit of driving between 70 and 80 mph, not going even faster ...

Jaguar - Land Rover: A new engine factory in Wolverhampton

Jaguar - Land Rover: A new engine factory in Wolverhampton

Towards the northwest area of Birmingham and the West Midlands for the good city of Wolverhampton, which may be known to soccer fans because the club of the city is changing in the Premier League.

But the vast information of the moment is the arrival of Jaguar in the territory with the creation of a new engine factory to produce up to 800,000 units / year.

Jaguar announces 400 to 500 million euros in the coming months including 405 million just for this new production mechanism that is at the end of 2012 producing powertrains with British manufacturer will need to succeed L4 and V6 engines diesel born of the partnership with Ford and PSA but also can be the V6 and V8 petrol developed and produced by the Ford Dagenham and Bridgend sites. Initially this new factory is intended to produce a new generation of gasoline and diesel L4 called "Low emission" but nothing prevents that eventually become the L4 V8 for the high-end Jaguar.

Another good news for the English regionthe factory will create some 750 full time jobs (+ 300 to 400 jobs related to the supply chain of the site) to produce the new engines. Finally you should know that it is essentially the proximity to the factories to Halewood, Solihull and Castel Bromwich which dictated the choice of powerful and rational industrial group Tata owned Jaguar and Land Rover.

Frankfurt Motor Show 2011: TechArt GT Street RS

Frankfurt Motor Show 2011: TechArt GT Street RS

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is equipped with a flat-six in a 620 horsepower variant. It is probably sufficient in absolute terms, but Techart experts insisted to add a little more. The GT2 RS thus becomes GT Street RS and now develops 720 hp and 900 Nm of torque through a reworked engine and a modified exhaust.

The GT Street RS goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds and top speed climbs to 352 km / h, a figure similar to a Lamborghini or a Aventador Aston Martin One-77.

The chapter on external changes is probably the most important for this preparation which remains one of the most showy cars across the Frankfurt Motor Show. His bright blue paint, his blue-rimmed wheels and large front bumper / rear announce the color (this is the case to say).

Too much? Perhaps, but still does not limited in its capabilities ...

Jaguar C-X16 A Two-Seater; What Mean The Name ?

Jaguar C-X16 A Two-Seater; What Mean The Name ?

The 2011 Frankfurt auto show opens to the media on Sept. 12, and one of the most anticipated concept cars making its debut on the show floor will be the Jaguar C-X16 concept, a promise-keeper for the brand's future entry-level sports car.
Chief designer Ian Callum says it's one of the most exciting cars he's worked on in his long history with the brand, and that excitement ends up showing up in the name: C-X16 is, in fact, the sixteenth car Callum has worked on since he landed at Jaguar after his tenures at Ford and TWR/Aston Martin.

The Frankfurt-bound C-X16 has been called a "production concept" by Jaguar officials in the press surrounding the release of a concept-car sketch, seen here. Those officials indicate the concept coming to Frankfurt will not be a running vehicle--and that suggests the C-X16 is a bit more "concept" than "production" car at this point in time, though clearly on a fast track to reality.

Officially, Jaguar says the concept is a "precursor to future Jaguar sports cars that will aim to set new class benchmarks in design, vehicle dynamics and technology."

Callum also confirms the C-X16 is a two-seater, something that looks obvious from sketches but hasn't been stated yet in the lead-up to the car's reveal in Frankfurt on September 7. He also says any production version will be aimed at a "volume" segment, something significantly less expensive than today's Jaguar XK and its base price of about $84,000.

As for his other budding sportscar project, the C-X75, Callum says "the Bugatti Veyron had better watch out," suggesting Jaguar has very lofty performance goals for its concept supercar, approved for production but sporting a plug-in hybrid drivetrain instead of its concept microturbine hybrid system.
