Momo Car-Sharing is the European Commission's support for carsharing. It stands for "More Options for energy efficient Mobility through Car-Sharing". It has been under the leadership of Michael Glotz-Richter, the environmental minister for the City of Bremen, Germany.
The languages of the videos are English, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italiano, Spanish, and Turkish (links to individual videos on the page above).
In the past Momo has produced a number of humorous short videos promoting carsharing — two James Bond spoofs, three 30 second public service announcements and this 4 min. intro to carsharing with Chinese and English subtitles. The full list of Momo Carsharing videos is here.
Unfortunately, many of these videos, including the newest ones, highlight the atypical key manager system only used by Cambio Carsharing affiliates, where keys are not kept in the vehicle as is typical of most companies. And, not surprisingly, there's no mention of the new "mobility on demand" systems like car2go, Drive Now and Autolib. Still, the videos should be useful as non-brand-specific introductions for city government and transit agency officials.And, even though it's over, you might be interested in the Momo carsharing conference agenda here.
